Meet Echo

Echo Dawn Houle has been practicing acupuncture techniques for over 16 years and is dedicated to relieving chronic pain for her clients so they can live their fullest lives. The main focus of her practice is to reduce overall chronic pain in the lower back, sciatica, chronic migraines, and cervical spine and hip alignment. 

 

Her passion for wellness of the human body brings her to continuous studying and constantly brings more knowledge to her practice.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is commonly used to help manage chronic pain conditions such as lower back pain, osteoarthritis, migraines, and fibromyalgia. Traditional acupuncture is often sought after for its ability to promote relaxation and reduce stress. During an acupuncture session, the practitioner may target specific points known to have a calming effect on the nervous system. It also aims to restore balance and harmony within the body by addressing the flow of energy, known as Qi. According to traditional Chinese medicine, when Qi is blocked or imbalanced, it can lead to various health issues.

Cupping

Manual Cupping

Manual cupping is often used to target specific areas of pain, such as back, neck, or shoulder pain, and it is believed to help relax muscles, improve circulation, and alleviate discomfort. The suction created by the cups helps to draw stagnant blood and fluids to the surface of the skin, which may facilitate the removal of toxins and metabolic waste products. Many people find manual cupping to be a relaxing and calming experience. The gentle suction and pressure applied during the therapy can help promote a sense of relaxation and reduce stress.

Postural Alignment

Poor posture often leads to muscle imbalances and excessive muscular tension, which can contribute to chronic pain, discomfort, and even injuries. Manual postural alignment techniques, such as soft tissue manipulation, myofascial release, or joint mobilization, can help release tension in tight muscles, reduce muscular imbalances, and relieve pain. By restoring proper alignment and addressing underlying muscular issues, manual techniques can promote a more balanced and pain-free musculoskeletal system.
